Job Description Summary Responsible for directing the functional activities of assigned staff including technical design, product evaluations, and project management. Provides management with direction and leadership in technical areas. Provides advice and counsel to management concerning the application of computing techniques to business problems. Assigned area(s) of responsibility are activities of high complexity and impact. Essential Job Functions • Lead a large program for Commercial Loan Servicing Transformation, Migrating a legacy Mainframe Platform to the Cloud • Bring in modern IT thought leadership to build highly available and resilient cloud based solutions integrating with real time system. • Prepares project plans including scheduling, costs, resources, and other operational concerns. • Analyzes management needs regarding information retrieval, data control and use of computing and data processing resource and processes. • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and recommends/evaluates technologies. • Directs and/or assists in the continuing review of present systems and methods, and the formulation of new and revised systems, examining techniques in use and determine appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency. • Plans, coordinates, and schedules investigations, feasibility studies and surveys, including the economic evaluations of proposed and existing systems. • Ensures proper coordination between assigned staff and all interfacing staff and groups. • Provides technical expertise in the examination and definition of objectives of existing or proposed systems and in the design of improved systems utilizing information technology • Assists in the development of cost and time estimates for capital budgeting plan and operational budget plan for the area. Required Experience • Requires broad management knowledge to lead project teams in one department. • Technical work experience in Commercial Loan servicing. • Banking or Financial service work experience. • Experience working in large matrixed organizations to deliver complex initiatives. • Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function. • Requires 10-12 years minimum prior relevant experience. Education • Bachelor's Degree Working Location Statement This position has the option to work in one of our key hubs (San Francisco, CA, San Ramon, CA, Tempe, AZ, Omaha, NE) or to work remotely as long as it is in within our 27 state working footprint which includes AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY, NY.
