Job Description Summary Responsible for implementing information security and data loss prevention solutions. Supports the business, security, and technical staff by assisting with the ingestion of SIEM logs from our security tools, development of dashboards and Use-Cases within Splunk for our incident investigation teams. Essential Job Functions • Development of Splunk dashboards for investigation and/or ensures systems specifications, security controls and appropriate logging and monitoring align with business needs. • Ability to lead cybersecurity implementation projects to completion. • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, information security tool deployment and operations. • Reviews, drafts, and outlines processes related to tools under their management. • Communicates and coordinates with technology and business functional groups to specify hardware, software and network connectivity for production and test environments. • Develops and reports key trends, performance and risk indicators affecting the group’s processes, tools, and responsibilities for management and key stakeholders. • Provides senior level support on tools and processes. • Provides process oversight and review for operational Security tools. Qualifications • 7 years minimum prior relevant experience within information security or relative roles. • Strong experience with Splunk, ES and UBA preferred. • Experience in a US regulated industry highly desirable; financial services preferred. • Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. • Strong communication and analytical skills • Must be resourceful, creative, innovative, results driven and adaptable. • Knowledge of Information Security Tool deployment, operations and enterprise architecture • Ability to lead operational projects to completion.
