Splunk is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented individual to join our dynamically growing GTM technical leadership team. Would you like the opportunity to work at a fast-growing company that is changing the way that information is used to support business and mission decisions? You will join a team of Partner Technical Managers (PTMs), Partner leaders, and sales professionals who focus on Amazon and its subsidiaries. You will discover customer and partner needs, incubate and launch innovative solutions, and develop partner capabilities and offerings to deliver customer value from Splunk. The team will operate in tight alignment with sales peers, consulting solutions engineers, technical architects, and other BUs within Splunk.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales and partner leadership to jointly develop strategic and technical account plans
  • Interact with customers and prospects to understand their business challenges
  • Work with large scale computing solutions and have experience leading deep architecture discussions to build world-class solutions while ensuring solutions designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Work directly with SE Director, Field Technical Interlock, Professional services, Product Development, and other organizations to ensure alignment with the field, provide process and product feedback, and resolve critical customer situations
  • Collaborative experience working with or at Amazon/AWS in a client-facing technical role

Requirements:

  • At least 8+ years' experience in technically selling and supporting software products to IT organizations (with account planning)
  • At least 2+ years related SE/SA Management experience
  • Must have experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud provider 
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral. Ability to communicate complex ideas and present these ideas
  • Experience and familiarity with the Splunk portfolio preferred
  • Industry expertise with IT Operations, Application Management, and/or Security/Compliance is desirable
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people, challenge and lead people toward peak performance
  • Able to travel up to 20% when travel resumes
  • BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or substantial relevant on the job experience
  • Location: Remote in USA 
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (we are not able to relocate)
