You are a domain specialist for simultaneous SKU requests, ensuring that product lifecycle methodologies are implemented across SKU and product configuration data. Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Product Data Analyst to create and maintain SKU and product configuration data with a high degree of accuracy and completing tasks within the SLA for timely delivery!
You will have the opportunity to engage with product management regarding new features, editions, products, pricing, etc., so that SKUs can be built/modified accordingly. You will ensure that SKUs and product configuration data are built in SCM systems, enabling book/ship functionality. You will verify that pricing master data is accurately updated including Cost and Foreign Exchange data following appropriate SOX guidelines.
Role Responsibilities:
Ensure reliable, accurate, and accessible product “SKU” data that drive corporate-wide processes like booking/shipping/reporting on orders
Maintain master data within defined service level agreements
Focus on continuous improvement by leading projects and initiatives that optimize business process, reducing cycle time and cost
Communicate and translate requirements between functional areas/Product Owners and supporting departments
Accurately govern task duration and dependencies for own assignments within the product portfolio. Communicate status updates to manager regularly
Prioritize assigned issues based on business impact. Identify and solve root cause of production support issues within established SLA parameter
Calculate potential impact to data and systems resulting from strategic product launches, projects, improvements, and production support.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills, and use a fact-based/data driven approach to drive continuous improvement
Experience troubleshooting data quality issues and providing recommendations for ensuring/validating data quality
Experience working with integrated systems and understanding limitations/environment issues with respect to data modelling and data management
Experience data management within ERP systems
Analytical troubleshooting of processes and system issues. Familiar with 8D problem solving methodology or equivalent, with experience using the methodology to solve business problems.
Experience influencing business leaders. Has a customer-first mentality, and has worked with both functional and technical resources.
Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of product management or product master data experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years; or PhD with 3 years of experience
Able to support shifted hours of operation during product release and quarter close
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of consistent track record running business systems, including experience in continuous improvement
Experience working with Business Intelligence systems
Experience building, setting up, and handling SKUs
