What You'll Do

• Lead a team of agile security engineers that build new security automation or enable tools that help Cisco teams deliver secure environments and roles that align with Security/Privacy/Data protection standards
• Effectively manage team resources to ensure security is represented across the globe.
• Work with other critical leaders across the security organization to optimize and drive process efficiency in all aspects of security engagement and execution
• Be a Security brand ambassador, partnering with other engineering and architecture teams to integrate various security and development tools and capabilities into a unified platform and approach making it simpler and easier for Cisco teams to consume
• Focus on delivering value to internal customers early, often and continuously in an agile delivery model
• Establish a team with a build/integrate, operate and secure mindset.
• Foster a culture of execution excellence coupled with innovation
• Mentor, coach and develop engineers and analysts to grow their skills and become some of the most senior technical security talent across Cisco

Who You Are

• 7+ years of industry experience in software product based companies with 2-5 years of that experience in a leadership role
• Leadership skills include coaching and mentoring, critical thinking, facilitation, change leadership, and team development
• Stong interpersonal skills, with the intuition and empathy to effectively manage a team across timezones and physical locations
• Experience developing cloud based applications in AWS, Google Cloud, and Gov Cloud
• Experience in CI/CD tool-sets, automation/orchestration/configuration management, security and quality practices
• Experience in data management, repositories and dashboards
