What You'll Do

  • You will be part of the quality assurance team responsible for validating all aspects of the Cisco Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solution in virtualization and public cloud environments.
  • You will get the opportunity to learn about SD-WAN and be exposed to working in a fast-paced and collaborative software development environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing and development engineering to understand the requirements and functional specifications; develop test cases, design-and-build test lab, validate the test cases, file bug reports, verify the fix and ensure that the delivered product meets the quality specifications.
  • Develop test automation software using Python and integrate them in the regression test environment.
  • Engage in early field trials and customer proof-of-concept activities. Closely work with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback into internal test phases and build standard test methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • MSEE with 3+ years or BSEE with 5+ years of relevant work experience with a strong background in computer networking (Routing, Switching, and SDN domains), software test methodologies, automation software and framework development (Python)
  • Knowledge of public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP), VMware, and KVM based virtualization is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
