About The Role

The Desktop Administrator position is the first line in the support structure of the IT Department.  This position is responsible for providing first level support for problems and issues in the field and in-house related to end users. 

What You Will Do

• Provide end-user support on all hardware and software issues that arise
• Provide phone support for off-site personnel
• Configure desktop hardware and software for new and existing users
• Asset tracking activities including asset tagging, inventory confirmation, and other related tasks
• Responsible for resolving issues submitted through the IT ticketing system.

What You Will Need

• Experience and working knowledge of desktop operating systems such as Windows 7, 10, and Mac OS X
• Experience and strong knowledge of MS Office suite and basic Windows desktop programs
• Experience and strong knowledge of imaging and encrypting end user computers such as desktop and laptop systems
• Employees will be required to lift heavy computer and facilities equipment (75lbs+) as part of their everyday job.
• Macintosh, Linux and Active Directory experience preferred
