About the Role

As a Payroll Analyst you will be part of the “go to” team for all thing’s payroll. You will work with other departments to deliver the best possible service to our clients, workers, and colleagues. Each week there is a set processing schedule and due to PRO Unlimited processing payroll weekly, time management is key to meet payroll deadlines.  During payroll processing, you will review, validate, and reconcile payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with Federal and state regulatory requirements.  The attention to detail required and continuous workflow makes this a great position for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment. It is very rewarding to assist both colleagues and PRO Unlimited Payroll workers daily, while being supported by great teammates and management. 

What You Will Do

• Fulfill day-to-day functions of CPO including but not limited to:  weekly timecard maintenance, FLSA compliance, rate changes, direct deposit, advances/arrears, manual paychecks, and shift differential maintenance.
• Accurate payroll processing and ensuring that CS representatives utilize appropriate processing procedures and follow compliance regulations.
• Manage and provide on-going research, resolution, product support and superior customer service to Workers, Client Services, HR, and accounting teams.

What You Will Need

• A customer-oriented, self-motivated critical thinker with a “Can-Do” attitude!
• Bachelor’s degree is desired but not required
• 1-2 years of payroll experience in high production capacity
• APA Fundamental Payroll Certificate (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designations are preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all layers of the organization
