RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute the implementation of a number of critical web application tools for the configuration of customer hardware products and their function in and relation to the physical world.
  • Craft sophisticated and specialized tools for displaying and interacting with diverse forms of customer data.

YOU ARE AN IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Built and deployed large scale solutions that cater functionality to large numbers of users.
  • Long and demonstrable experience with modern web tools and frameworks including React, Ruby/Rails and NodeJS.
  • A deep interest and understanding of backend development with experience in areas such as database engines, mem caching and scaling considerations.
  • A genuine interest and curiosity about trends and methodologies. Keeping up to speed with technology, with a clear understanding of the balance between innovative and stable.
  • Established relationships with product teams (including UX design and product management) and worked cross functionally to define and prioritize problems.
  • A good knowledge and experience in test driven development.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Visual design skills.
  • Previous experience in the data science field and/or complex data visualisations.
