WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be responsible for the vision, roadmap, and execution for the Data Science and Data Infrastructure teams
  • Evangelize the impact on the business of data science and machine learning techniques
  • Partner closely with a wide range of product and business teams
  • Grow our team of data analysts, scientists, and engineers to support both our R&D and go-to-market departments
  • Determine and run pipeline for team’s work and prioritize based on business needs
  • Support career paths, mentorship, and growth for team members
  • Provide technical direction on key data infrastructure decisions
  • Ensure access to high quality data and that consistent metrics and analytical approaches are being adhered to across the organization

WHO YOU ARE

  • 8+ years of experience in business analytics, consulting, data science, business intelligence, data quality, and/or data engineering
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Passionate about data quality and consistency
  • Demonstrated execution of outcomes against objectives and deadlines
  • Strong analytical intuition and eye for business
  • Interest in and ability to understand cloud networking technologies
  • Sense of urgency to drive impact

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Experience leading people managers
  • PhD or relevant advanced degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, science, math, statistics)
