About the Team
Come join us in Pleasanton to build the framework and tooling that supports all of Workday’s APIs. We value innovation, teamwork, and ownership. We believe mistakes are inevitable, but learning from them, so we can improve is essential to us. We want folks who are willing to grab a shovel and dig in regardless of title or position. This is a ground floor opportunity to join a small and rapidly growing team in Workday's headquarters at Pleasanton.
Opportunity Onramps® is a pathway to relaunch your career in the technology industry regardless of your background. We recognize that people do not follow the same path in life or their career. Sometimes people need to take a break from their career. The pause may have been taken for a whole host of reasons including but not limited to: caregiving, illness, unemployment, covid-19 impacts, immigration, asylum or refuge seeking needs. At Workday, we embrace the pause, and the unique perspectives it can provide.
Through our Career Returner program, we provide on-the-job training, mentorship, professional development and a pathway to full time careers for job seekers as they relaunch their careers back into the workforce. This is an immersive 16-week paid program where you’ll make an impact at Workday by engaging in meaningful work, have access to many career growth and skill building opportunities; including networking, training, and ongoing professional development. At the end of the program, participants may also be offered full-time employment by Workday.
To be eligible for the Career Returner program, candidates must have a minimum of three years of prior work experience and a break from their career for at least one and a half years.
