The goal of the Executive Engagement & Customer Programs team is to provide a “differentiated” customer experience that will support Palo Alto Networks sales and marketing efforts as it continues to be the fastest growing cybersecurity company in the market. This role reports to the Sr. Director, and is responsible for the management and delivery of our Customer Advisory Board programs.
Because this role is highly visible and involves interactions with prospects, customers, and partners, this individual must demonstrate an elevated level of professionalism on a daily basis. The role requires that this individual be knowledgeable and confident when interacting with executives. This individual must be able to work well in a small team environment and cross-functionally across the company, have high energy level, a positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to quickly build rapport and trust with internal and external clients. This position may require on-site presence.
Palo Alto Networks Customer Advisory Boards (CAB) are critical Executive listening forums for our customers. These CABs aim to gather actionable insights to influence and validate our technology and business strategy while nurturing relationships with customers and creating brand evangelists. As the Senior Program Manager for the Customer Advisory Boards (CABs), you will lead the strategy for, and ongoing management of, all aspects of our CABs.
Your Impact
Lead strategy, execution and program management of the global Customer Advisory Boards (CAB). You will build trusted relationships with Executive Sponsors of the CABs and partner on the strategic development of the agendas, objectives and deliverables. You will partner cross-functionally with additional stakeholders to ensure the timely forward progression of all deliverables within workstreams. You will act as the point of contact for customer CAB Members to address questions and gather insights and topics of interests. You will develop and track a closed feedback loop for internal stakeholders to ensure information and insights from board engagement are being shared strategically across Palo Alto Networks.
Your Experience
Project Management - min of 8 years experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
5 years of experience working in Customer Advisory Board program management, operations, or product marketing roles
Stakeholder management experience with executives and senior leaders
Working knowledge of the tech industry and related fields, cybersecurity preferred
Ability to:
Work in an ambiguous fast-paced environment
Multitask, handling multiple meetings simultaneously, and prioritize tasks
Transition between workloads with an understanding of program/project management.
Tools and Reporting
Have experience implementing and using scheduling and other software tools e.g. Briefing Source, Google’s GSuite, and Salesforce
Experience with Salesforce reporting to track engagement impact and pull data to use in actionable program design
Communication
Have the ability to effectively interface with internal and external executive customers and stakeholders, including the C-Suite
Must be able to build strong relationships with individuals and teams within Palo Alto Networks
Have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Customer Experience
Demonstrate deep attention to all details of the customer experience
Have a detailed focus on deliverables and continually monitor and evaluate quality of the engagement experience
Possess a customer-centric approach to dealing with internal and external clients
Must have had international exposure and understanding of proper business meeting etiquette
