Your role at Sephora:
As a Tech Governance Financial Analyst, you will be owning the financial tracking for part of the IT operations including accurate mapping and processing of invoices. Reporting to the Tech Governance Financial Manager, you will support leadership and the PMO team on budget tracking. In addition, you will: 

  • Owning the weekly/monthly forecast/audits within your domain and assisting with overall monthly IT Capex forecast/audits, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Open POs (Capex/Opex) as requested, based on Quotes, SOWs, etc or actual MindSalt entries and track/compare them (Capex) to forecast estimates. Additionally, manage PO approval process within your domain
  • Partner with budget owners on project forecasting, tracking and provide analytical support
  • Communicating with Budget owners to validate accuracy of invoices and receiving accurate payment instructions 
  • Paying invoices on time and escalate issues as soon as possible or if you foresee any issues coming
  • Participate in / Own meetings to review and guide leadership of any issues or be able to answer questions about invoices and budgets
  • Communicate and coordinate with Accounts Payable and/or vendors about payments
  • Assist with additional reporting and projects as needed
  • Support the team as needed and be able to step in case of coverage needs
  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the strategies, business issues, risks and profitability opportunities

  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial role either Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing + Receiving
  • Must have strong work ethics
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP, Coupa, SmartSheets – Mindsalt & iOffice knowledge a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
