The Nike Connected Capabilities team is responsible for crafting the future of Nike’s Partner Marketplace to better serve consumer through connected data and technology. Through the One Nike Marketplace strategy, we will enable our Connected Inventory and Connected Experiences team to know the consumer better everywhere she shops. Our focus will be to drive value out of data that has meaningful benefit to Nike, our consumer and our partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Connected Data Strategy Manager to develop the strategy to monetize data and operationalize it, driving cross functional and agile processes.

The Connected Data Strategy Manager will possess a solid background in strategy and process development; has a comprehensive understanding of customer segmentation, acquisition and retention, retail and marketing metrics, buying, forecasting, and account management. You will know how these are used across functions to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for Nike to better serve consumers.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Your day-to-day work will involve being a data steward and consumer advocate for our business!

You will partner with Marketing, Membership, Personalization, Merchandising and Capability teams to prioritize initiatives to monetize data, drive the cross functional work and seasonal plans to execute them; track execution, continuously evolving the plan based on takeaways.

You will translate data to a consumable and relatable narrative for key partners and senior leaders. And be responsible for sharing relevant and meaningful insights with key beneficiaries, both at Global and Geo levels.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Global Connected Data Director as part of the Connected Marketplace Capability team and work with a diverse group of partners including Marketing, Membership, Consumer Data Science, Personalization, Privacy, Legal, Analytics, Planning, Finance, and Digital Product.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
  • 4+ years demonstrated experience in strategy consulting and process development
  • Ability to demystify measurement and translate data to a consumable, relatable narrative
  • Understanding of consumers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred
  • Strong intuition for business and the ability to successfully navigate and influence various personalities within a complex business environment
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts to senior leaders and business audiences
  • Ability to work cross functionally and in a matrix environment
